American Legion Battlefield Post 214, in Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia, serves American Armed Services Veterans and the community in Catoosa, Walker, Dade and other counties in Northwest Georgia, as well as the Greater Chattanooga area.
Battlefield Post 214’s activities include Sunday afternoon BINGO, car shows, gun shows, providing meals for veterans and others (through a grant from Northwest Georgia Power), and more. Battlefield Post 214 also rents out the American Legion Post’s facilities for dances, dinners, parties and family gatherings.
Battlefield Post 214 was recently named as a designated Food Pantry as part of the Chattanooga Food Bank system.
Veterans from the U.S. Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force, Coast Guard and National Guard are represented in the membership of Battlefield Post 214.
Battlefield Post 214’s American Legion Hall is located at 540 Park City Road, Rossville, GA, 30741 (just south of Highway 2 / Battlefield Parkway).
